Vorspiel — a bilingual poetic and musical performance
The bilingual performance “Vorspiel” took place at Hotel Continental – Art Space in Exile in Berlin, created based on poems by Zlata Zhuravlova. The production combined poetry, music, and theatre into a layered narrative about life, love, and war. It explored themes of identity, memory, loss, and hope through both personal and collective voices. Ukrainian and German artists collaborated on the project, with music created by the Bezlich community. The performance was directed by Marta Pysanko and Polina Okhrytkova. It became a space of self-discovery, identification with the lyrical character, and dialogues about what truly matters in the language of art.
